On May 17th the Turkish American community attended a meet & greet with Michael Eggman in San Francisco. Michael Eggman is running for Congress in California’s 10th District as a democratic candidate. He provided attendees with an overview of his campaign and the upcoming primary election on June 5th. He spoke about his connection to the Turkish American community through his best friend, a Crimean Tatar, whose family has been active in the Turkish American community in South Bay for years. Ben Bartlett, who is running for California’s State Assembly in the 15th District and is a member of the Turkish American community, was also in attendance.
