On October 23, Turkish Americans in the Washington, D.C, Maryland, Virginia area held their second “town hall meeting.” The participants listened to briefings on the midterm elections and the mechanics of political fundraising by two guest speakers, Lindsay Angelholzer of ABC Consulting (Democrat) and Alice Perry of Gula Graham (Republican.)
This meeting is part of a series, facilitated by Turkish Coalition Northeast Political Action Committee, TC-NE PAC, where members of the Turkish American community regularly get together, hear from those who are active in American politics, and explore opportunities to better influence their future.
